Inniskillin Winemaker’s Series Montague Vineyard Chardonnay 2012 – Vintages 586347 – $24.95 – I recently had a chance to visit Inniskillin when I tasted this wine I immediately needed to take some home with me. There is a little more Oak flavours than what has become typical of Ontario Chardonnay. You have nice spice and citrus notes very well integrated with vanilla and a nice creamy finish on the back of your tongue. This will be perfect with Turkey or Chicken.
Southbrook Triomphe Cabernet/Merlot 2008 – Vintages 172080 – $22.95 – Lip smacking and loaded with fruit flavours. Raspberry, Cherry and Black Currant with a satisfying finish. This is your beef wine whether it’s roast or steak, but for me this is one I will be drinking on it’s own.
