2011 Hinterbrook Sauvignon Blanc – Vintages 359372 – $16.95 – Herbacious with Lime notes! This is a fantastic Sauvignon Blanc that strikes a great balance between bright citrus flavours and savory herbaciousness. This wine is a great seafood wine but is equally delicious on it’s own. I am a big fan of Sauvignon Blanc from this part of the province because it is very well priced and superior quality. At this price point it is exceptional value.
2010 Palatine Hills Neufeld Vineyard Meritage – Vintages 361378 – $29.95 – This is a very soft and delicious meritage. It is made up of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc but the Merlot flavours are very dominant. You get lots of Juicy Cherry flavours with Currant and nice pleasant finish. This will go great with roast beef or lamb dishes.
