2011 Malivoire Chardonnay – Vintages 573147 – $19.95 – Chardonnay for the summer! What goes better with a fish fry than a great, balanced Chardonnay. From Malivoire you get a wine with great flavours of pear and peach with great subtle oak on the finish. Flavours of Vanilla and Caramel dominate the finish of this wine with a nice pleasant lingering aftertaste. This will go great with fish off the grill, or out of a frying pan. This is another great pick to sip and enjoy on it’s own.
2012 G. Marquis The Silver Line Pinot Noir – Vintages 258673 – $19.95 – A little heavier on the palate than most Pinot from Ontario. You have a wine with very good balance between fruit and earthiness on the finish. Fruit flavours of Cherry and Raspberry with a slight smokiness on the finish. This Pinot is very good value!
