2010 Featherstone Joy Premium Sparkling – Vintages 310334 – $34.95 – Anyone that knows me knows how much I love this wine. This bottle looks inconspicuous as it is sealed with a crown cap. Don’t let the beer cap fool you this wine is exceptional! A nose of rising bread leads to bright citrus and apple flavours and crisp clean acidity. This is exactly how I will be celebrating my Christmas, New Years and most Friday nights from now until I run out.
Warm N Cozy Mulled Wine – LCBO 348524 – $11.95 – Be warned, unless you love gingerbread and fruit cake this may not be the wine for you. Now if you are still reading … this mulled wine is fantastic! It’s dry and you don’t have to muck around with your own spice mixture and worry about straining it into your mugs. Just dump the bottle into a saucepan and heat it up to your desired temperature and serve in a mug. This is perfect to enjoy on a cold day on it’s own or with some Christmas baking.
