Bright and crisp this will pair with any food that you can put on the table this time of year. Flavours are lemon, lime and this wine has a nice mineral note that goes from start to finish. There is a nice floral note that gives this wine a bit of depth.
2012 Henry of Pelham Estate Cabernet Merlot – Vintages 395855 – $24.95 – ****+ – Raspberry, Cherry and Blueberry on the nose. Surrounding the fruit there are nice notes of cedar and woodsmoke. Enjoy this wine with roasted red meat over the winter. This wine is approachable right now, but it will age in a cellar… needless to say this wine will make a great christmas gift but if you end up enjoying it yourself you can afford to pick up a second bottle.
