The list in the bottom of this article does seem like A LOT. That being said you’re always better to have too much than too little. It’s also difficult when you’re having a party to know WHAT kind of wine to buy. This is why things are so exciting in Ontario right now … there are more and more Red and White blends working their way onto the regular list that it makes shopping for a crowd much easier. Blended wines generally have good balance and will please even a picky crowd.
