2013 Southbrook Triomphe Chardonnay – Vintages 172338 – $22.95 – Rich and delicious. At the same time this Chardonnay is a perfectly balanced blend of crisp citrus, apple and vanilla and butterscotch on the finish. I have enjoyed this wine with every vintage I have tried but this may be the best vintage of the Triomphe Chardonnay yet. This wine easily outperforms its price point and I will be stocking up on several bottles of this to enjoy over the holidays. I defy you to find me a better Ontario Chardonnay at this price point. For food it is begging to be paired with roast turkey, or creamy pasta dishes… but I will be sipping on alot of this on its own over the holidays.
