2011 Norton Reserva Malbec – Vintages 17061 – $17.00 – **** – While this wine may not age as long as a Premier Cru Bordeaux it will make a nice addition to a budding wine collection or if you’re looking for something to stock up on while sticking to a budget. Pencil Shavings, Currant and Blueberry are what you find in the bottle with very firm tannin. If you’re going to open this now make sure you toss it into a decanter for an hour before drinking… but at seventeen dollars pick up a few bottles and wait at least 6-12 months before revisiting. This should age 5-8 years easily.
